Hydraulic Whip Checks

Whip checks are an accessory used with high pressure air hoses, and are also known as air hose safety cables. Whip checks attach a hose to another hose or to fixed equipment to prevent the hose from whipping around should the end be disconnected and the high pressure air rushes out, causing the hos to flail around. Air hoses have a metal quick disconnect fitting on the ends, which can cause significant damage as the hose whips around at high speed.
